Connect Stripe

Traffic tools count visits. Motif ranks the channel that earned the payment. Stripe Connect is how the payment arrives.

Connect once

On Websites, authorize Motif to read lifecycle facts for the Stripe account you connect. Motif does not store card numbers. Disconnecting Stripe stops new revenue facts. Historical payments without a visitor stay unattributed; Motif does not backfill them.

What joins

Checkout and invoices become payments.
Refunds reduce net revenue. They do not delete the original payment.
Cancellation and churn are lifecycle facts on the same visitor.
Net revenue is cohort-correct to the arrival window, not the week they paid.

What Motif will not join

The public tracker never accepts an amount. There is no customer backend integration for money. Currencies are never summed across codes. Observed return is not called ROI without a spend denominator you supply.
